SIGMA TIN ALLOY  CO., LTD. well understands the effects to society and the environments of all the production activities and the products which supplied. In order to take the social responsibility, our company hereby declares:

 

1. All the products or components supplied by our company assure "the Metal Conflict-Free" and not from the Democratic Republic of Congo and its surrounding countries (as defined in Note 1) or any armed force controlled areas within these countries. (as defined in Note 2)

 

2. Our company will truthfully fill out and response to the investigation of "conflict minerals" and provide related documents according to the requirements, and promise the authenticity, accuracy, and completeness for all the documents we provided.

 

3. Our company promises to establish a set of complete conflict minerals policy, management system, and investigation framework that is consistent with relative laws (including but not limited to Section 1502 of the Dodd Frank Act in the United States) and guidelines published by relevant agencies (such as the OECD or EICC), and to require our suppliers to meet the same standards.

 

Note 1: The Democratic Republic of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and its surrounding countries include: (a) the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Republic of the Congo, the Republic of Sudan, the Republic of South Sudan, the The Republic of Uganda, the Republic of Rwanda, the Republic of Burundi, the République solidaire, the Republic of Zambia, the Republic of Angola and the Central African Republic; (b) New countries (regions) and existing countries (regions) that will include some or all of the aforementioned countries in the future.

 

Note 2: "Conflict minerals" include but are not limited to cassiterite, wolframite, Coltan, gold and its derivatives and other rare metals, especially gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tin (Sn) and tungsten (W) metal raw materials from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and its surrounding countries, as well as any areas controlled by armed forces in these countries. The metal used or contained does not come from the Democratic Republic of Congo or its surrounding countries or any armed force controlled areas within these countries, including metal mining, smelting, forming, and other manufacturing and processing processes, which do not occur in the Democratic Republic of Congo or its surrounding countries or any armed force controlled areas within these countries.
